“I’m a passionate French teacher!”

Bonjour! My name is Eva and I’m a passionate French Teacher. During my early studies in Applied Languages, I lived in the USA and Spain.

These life experiences laid the foundation for my passion for intercultural exchange and language transmission. I began to major in teaching FLE and gained experience working in the Alliance Française of Cartagena (Spain) and CIEF in Lyon. After obtaining my Master’s Degree in teaching FLE, I worked for one year as a French Teacher in South Korea at the Naval Academy and Alliance Française.

Since my return to Lyon, I have worked in different schools, universities and organisations strengthening my knowledge of various public spheres and teaching methods.

My objective and philosophy

I aim to create engaging and entertaining lessons! I’ll help you gain confidence, strengthen your abilities and help you to love learning French!

For me, each new encounter with a student is a valuable shared moment. I can’t wait to meet you!

I have been taking lessons with Eva for a few years now and really like the style of her classes and the focus on conversation. My experience has been phenomenal. She helped me improve my ability so confidently speak French immensely and corrects promptly, but also corrects my errors in a kind way. We work in a group and I look forward to meeting the new found friends. Eva’s style is perfect for anyone who wants to focus on conversation, with tips on culture, history, politics and music. (although we have different music taste) Eva’s group sessions are the one of the highlights of my week and I know Eva is a great teacher – patient, calm and yet encouraging too. The sessions inspire me to learn the language more and more. For each lesson, Eva’s objectives are clear and well planned out (she has always planned an interesting discussion topic, particular grammar structure, or useful vocabulary list), but Eva is always willing to allow the lesson to go in a different direction if something has popped up. Definitely recommended.

I’ve been taking French class with Eva since the beginning of 2021. Her lessons helped me a lot during my daily life in France while booking a lot of progress thanks to the private lessons.
Last year I joined a group session which is a fantastic opportunity to meet other students and other cultures while learning French.
Topics were always changing and based on real life examples and actual subjects.
Besides of that she developed a learning system by video conferencing that worked fine for me.
